    On a rainy day in Montreal, my third time to their festival, even though the music is going strong at 1:00 in the afternoon, just outside these hotel walls, one of the most interesting places to be right now is in front of the Hyatt's hotel lobby, on a couch.

    7 renowned guitar-makers, inspired by 7 iconic artists, crafted 7 one-of-a-kind guitars.

    A group of seven world-renowned Canadian guitar makers, also known as luthiers, inspired by the Group of Seven–the famous painters who changed the way Canadians saw their country–built extraordinary instruments demonstrating the depth of artistry that exists in Canada. Each luthier created a guitar inspired by one of the original members of the Group of Seven, and worked collaboratively on an eighth guitar to celebrate Tom Thomson.
